What is a parcel?
A parcel is the core ownership unit in Atlas Earth. Your total parcel count is the base that all rent math starts from.
Each parcel generates base rent continuously, and your actual earnings depend on:
- Parcel rarity (common, rare, epic, legendary)
- Your ad boost tier (based on total parcel count)
- Your passport badge bonus
- SRB event time at 50x
Parcel rarity tiers
Every new parcel roll lands in one rarity tier.
| Rarity | Typical drop rate | Base rent / second | Base rent / day |
|---|---|---|---|
| Common | 50% | $0.0000000011 | ~$0.000095 |
| Rare | 30% | $0.0000000016 | ~$0.000138 |
| Epic | 15% | $0.0000000022 | ~$0.000190 |
| Legendary | 5% | $0.0000000044 | ~$0.000380 |
Average base rate across many parcels is about $0.000000001589/sec (about $0.000136/day per parcel).
Why parcel count matters so much
Parcel count does two things at once:
- Adds more total base rent (good)
- Can lower your boost multiplier when crossing tier boundaries (can be bad short-term)
Example:
- 150 parcels = 30x tier
- 151 parcels = 20x tier
That is why tier timing matters. More parcels are not always an immediate earnings increase right at boundaries.

Parcel earnings formula (simplified)
parcel earnings = base parcel rent x badge multiplier x active boost multiplier
With SRB active, normal boost is replaced by 50x for event hours.

Common parcel mistakes
- Crossing into the next boost tier too early with low AB reserves
- Ignoring badge upgrades that may outperform the next parcel step
- Assuming SRB stacks on top of normal boost (it replaces it)
- Using only average rarity math when your real rarity mix differs heavily
